In addition, kittens are scanned for feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). These viruses can cause serious health issues, and if your kitten should test positive for one of these, we can discuss the options to provide the best possible care.
In addition to the necessary vaccines, this package includes a Home Again Microchip, and one year’s registration in the Home Again Pet Recovery Program.
We also include two fecal exams to check for less common parasites, an initial deworming medication, and a dose of flea & tick prevention.
During your visits, staff will discuss such things as socialization, litter box training, diet, spay/neuter benefits and the importance of annual wellness exams. At the end of the series you will receive a 10% discount coupon to use toward your pets spay/neuter.
If you have questions, we encourage you to call between appointments or write your concerns down, so we can address them at your next visit.
We look forward to a long and healthy relationship with you and your kitten!
